Job Description:
Exquisite Solution Limited is seeking a Roustabout Graduate Trainee for a client in the oil and gas sector. The role involves assisting in the management of tools, pipes, and spare parts received from the Operator and Contractor on the rig site.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Tool Pusher in measuring, serializing, and inspecting drill pipes, casing, and tubing, including thread and bore checks.
- Contribute to checking, cleaning, and drifting casing, tubing, and accessories on site.
- Assist in managing and using site tool sledges, spare part sledges, and catwalk toolboxes.
- Support the organization and safekeeping of substructure, derrick, and lock pins.
- Contribute to managing and handling pipe thread protectors and lifting slings.
- Assist in maintaining rig lighting, cleaning work areas, and managing solid waste.
- Support the maintenance of a safe working environment on the rig.
- Contribute to completing other tasks assigned by rig management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a related field.
- Recent graduate within the past two years.
- Basic knowledge of oil and gas operations is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaborative mindset.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a hands-on, technical environment.
